Another successful meeting for Your Business Club at Poynton Legion Club took place on Tuesday 11th August.

August’s Guest Speaker was Karyn Johnston from Age Concern East Cheshire.

Karyn’s insight in to the effect an ageing population will have on businesses will help you plan your strategy to successfully meet the needs of this powerful and growing demographic.

Age is the new battleground for the equality lobby and Karyn is helping to sort the wheat from the chaff on the emerging issues. Her talk helped us to explore your own attitude and understanding of what growing older means to us, your friends, relations and most importantly your potential customers.

Karyn Johnston brought her 21 years of marketing and advertising experience to Age Concern East Cheshire 18 months ago. She strongly believes that bringing businesses and the older generation together will benefit business and create a society that is a great place in which to grow old.

The attendees enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and we are looking forward to the next events on the 8th and 23rd September.
